This Basset Hound necklace, pendant features the profile of the Basset Hound’s large head and well-arched neck in outline form, with one of those characteristic long ears in full view. Typical of the Basset Hound breed, the ear hangs in loose folds with the ends curling slightly inward. You can almost feel the ear’s velvety texture and imagine it folds well over the end of the nose when drawn forward. The eye on the Basset Hound charm is slightly sunken in and made prominent by a bit of oxidation for contrast. And of course it has that celebrated sad expression!
